As a Singaporean, I'd say that the chicken rice here is legit. Definitely better than savoy. The rice here is flavorful and the chicken juicy and tender. The ginger and hot sauce is great too. The only thing missing from an authentic experience is the dark soy sauce for the rice and the light sesame soy sauce for the chicken. This beats savoy hands down. Will definitely return again when I'm craving some good chicken rice.

Quick service and large portions! We got the Hainan chicken (fried and regular). My boyfriend got the calming tea and said it was delicious! Would definitely come back. Street parking only btw!

Cluck for the win!! Juicy chicken on the inside and that light crunch on the outside. This place is consistent with the food, quick service and cleanliness. I might say that I prefer this over Savoy in Alhambra. Besides the food being really good here, there's no wait and you're in and out of here. It's not an extensive menu but it's to the point you get it booked or dried and that all. Love it! There are a few other items in the menu that I do like - wings, green beans and that cabbage salad. And yes extra ginger sauce PLEASE :) This is a regular place for me. Lots of mobile orders and pick up here. Parking on the street and side streets.

I ordered the combo A with dark chicken for dinner. The combo is a really good deal for two people. My order came with two bowls of rice, two bowls of chicken soup, 1 bowl of spicy cucumber, and 1 bowl of peanut. The chicken was soft and nicely sliced into bite sizes. The rice was soft and flavorful. I like that I could taste the chicken in the chicken soup. The cucumber pieces were seasoned with just right amount and not too spicy. I also got the chrysanthemum tea and it was really refreshing. There is one restroom in the back. Plenty of seating inside. It gets busy and crowded during peak meal time. I parked in the lot behind the restaurant.

Came here around 5 pm right before the dinner rush. The food came out pretty quick. I got Combo A which comes with a soup, half chicken, rice, garlic peanuts, spicy cucumber. The chicken also comes with some pickled veggies, and two sauces. This combo is for 2 people and we were full after we were done. This combo is nice because you get the peanuts and cucumbers as a bonus for sharing with someone else. The soup has a very hearty flavor. The rice is pillowy soft. We got the dark meat chicken which was really tender and flavorful. Add on your favorite sauce and it's packed with flavor. The spicy cucumber was nice and crispy. The peanuts had a really nice seasoning and added a nice texture to the meal.

Very solid Hainan chicken spot. A few tables inside for dining in. It appears the majority of their customers order takeout. Food is served on paper plates if you dine in. They have great scallion oil sauce which makes the dish perfect. It was so good, even my 10-yr old almost finished his own whole plate. The salt & pepper wings are a must try and seem to have a hint of curry flavor.

Oh my gosh this establishment was the first time I tried Hainan chicken-- and with the support and words of my girl friends, I was so excited to try it!! Hainan chicken is a poached chicken that comes with seasoned rice and assorted toppings/sauces. I ordered the Hainan chicken plate with the option of Dark Meat Only. The plates come with complimentary chicken broth and wow! That broth was so hearty and delicious. It was more flavorful than any other chicken broth I've slurped!! The chicken was juicy, soft, and tender and paired so well with the rice. The rice was like no other. You could tell the chicken has been tenderized by slow-cooking for so long. The amazing part of this dish is the fact that you could do so many different steps to really elevate and step up/enhance the flavor. There's 2 sauces on the side and the broth is perfect to add on as well. One sauce is spicy with a kick but has great hints of ginger while the other sauce is like a garlicy lime-basil taste. I loved them both. Definitely try them out and don't be afraid. They really make the dish become more amazing, turning a simple hearty meal into such an astonishing meal. I loved everything so much and ate until I was full. The portioning was great for the price and we felt like our moneys' worth was put in for the experience. The area inside is casual and great for a quick eat-out. I noticed lots of pickup orders go out. There's street parking available but it can be hard if there's no spots.

Cluck2Go has THE best Hainan Chicken in the area. I drive about 15-20 minutes just for their Hainan Chicken. We usually get the Combo A and it's definitely enough food for two hungry people. With the small eating area, I wish they served everything in anything other than paper plates and containers. I think it's just a waste, but we didn't come here for the cutlery. As you can see, the Combo A comes with everything you see, including two big containers of rice and chicken broth. We always get dark meat and it is delicious. They offer the green and red sauce, but we just love the green sauce of oil, ginger, scallions and salt. My favorite part of this meal is combining the peanuts with each bite. They mix the peanuts with red pepper flakes, fried garlic, salt, pepper, sugar and their secret ingredient that makes your mouth literally tingle...prickly ash oil. There are other menu items, but the Hainan Chicken is what they are famous for... I just love this place and wish it was open later some days when I just need to scratch that itch.
